2010 Meetings

The September presentation will be a joint slide program with the New York Railroad Enthusiasts (NYRRE). The NYRRE half of the presentation will consist of a slideshow by Steve Kalka. The N.Y. Division half will consist of slides from the Gerald H. Landau Collection as shown by longtime friend Gary Grahl.
Steve’s slides will cover the following subjects and much more:
- New Jersey: Opening of Hudson-Bergen, Black River & Western, PCCs in the Newark City Subway, Erie-Lackawanna MU farewell.
- Pennsylvania: Scranton and Washington trolley museums, Pittsburgh light rail.
Some highlights from the Landau Collection:
- New York: Subway scenes from the 1950s to 1980s, Penn-Central commuter rail.
- New Jersey: Pre-NJ Transit commuter rail.
Those who have attended the joint N.Y. Division and NYRRE meetings in the past know this is not to be missed!
We will have a short business session before the start of the program to discuss matters related to the N.Y. Division. If you have anything you wish to bring up, this is the time to do so.
