2026 Regional Trips

Join us aboard a comfortable Academy bus to visit Washington D.C. and Virginia! Our hotel will be the Hilton in Old Town Alexandria, adjacent to several restaurants and the King Street WMATA & DASH Metro and bus terminal and the Virginia Railway Express and Amtrak station. Join us in Washington D.C. and Virginia for lots of transit fun! Note the price of the trip is greatly reduced from last year thank to Academy!

We plan to visit the following locations of interest:

• Saturday – DART Wilmington facility; National Capital Trolley Museum; Montgomery County Ride On Kensington facility; WMATA Silver Spring station; Lunch at White Marsh Mall
• Sunday – DASH Garage in Alexandria; WMATA’s Four Mile Run & Shepherd Parkway facilities; Fairfax Connector West Ox Garage; Omniride Western facility; Vienna Metro station; Lunch in Fair Oaks Mall.
• Monday – DC Trails in Lorton, Richmond bus and lunch stop; Williamsburg Area Transit facility and downtown terminal with Amtrak
• Tuesday – On your own day! Explore a beautiful region with friends.
• Wednesday – Return to NYC with stops at WMATA’s Landover facility, Maryland’s Purple Line Glenridge facility, University of Maryland, Baltimore MTA Northwest Division and Rogers Avenue Metro station.

We have two stops to pick you up:

• Stop #1 – Manhattan – 8th Avenue between 40th and 41st Streets, NY Times building. 8:00 a.m. sharp.
• Stop #2 – Metropark NJT Station, Iselin, N.J., 8:40 a.m. sharp
